TCS is a tax credit rather than an extra transfer fee. You can claim it against your final tax bill, but the money remains unavailable until it is adjusted or refunded.
Add up your LRS payments across banks before sending. The bank or transfer company will need your earlier use to apply the threshold correctly.
UPI can be used to deposit money to a money transfer company, but it can’t send EUR to Portugal.
Instead, a money transfer company will switch to a local network of bank account or local rails to move INR to EUR.
