For a euro payment to an eligible account abroad, my suggestion is to check your Finnish bank's SEPA Instant option first.

Nordea can deliver these payments within ten seconds, including weekends, without charging a transfer fee through its app or online banking.

If the recipient needs another currency, a mobile wallet or cash, choose the service around that receiving method.

Wise offers supported instant EUR funding, Taptap Send has minutes-based wallet delivery, and Western Union can make cash ready for collection within minutes.

Wise

Pay directly from your bank using instant EUR funding

I'd say consider Wise for a foreign bank payment when its Simple bank transfer option can collect euros instantly from your Finnish bank.

This uses Open Banking to authorise the payment directly through your bank, so you do not need to enter card details.

The option depends on your bank supporting it, and a standard transfer can take up to a working day when instant funding is unavailable.

Trustly is another Finnish bank-payment option, but its funding time can be zero to two working days depending on the bank.

For GBP delivery to a UK bank, the recipient usually receives the money the same working day after Wise receives and converts it.

Conversion can take up to two working days, so quick funding and quick recipient credit need to be checked together.

For a bank payment, compare the delivery time at €500 and €2,000 below.

Taptap Send

Send into the mobile wallet your recipient uses

Taptap Send is a good fit for family support when the recipient already has a verified wallet that can receive an international payment.

For recipients with GCash, Maya or Coins.ph mobile wallets in the Philippines, payments typically arrive within minutes, with delivery available around the clock.

A first international GCash payment requires the recipient to accept its remittance terms before the money can be credited.

Resolve that step before sending urgently, rather than discovering it after the payment leaves your account.

You can fund eligible Finnish transfers with a debit or supported prepaid card, while credit cards are not currently accepted from Finland.

Check the wallet's receiving limit before sending, especially if you are covering several bills with one larger payment.

The delivery time below changes with the destination and amount you send.

Remitly

Choose Express for an urgent family payment

I think Remitly Express is worth considering when it is offered for the receiving method your family needs and its arrival meets the deadline.

Eligible transfers can use debit or credit card payment, with Apple Pay and Google Pay also available for supported Finnish payments.

Bank deposit, cash pickup and mobile wallets are destination-specific, so an Express option for one method does not establish every method's timing.

The recipient does not need a Remitly account, which avoids adding another signup step for someone receiving money urgently.

Our table shows Economy delivery times, so use the separate Express quote when you need faster delivery.

Revolut

Keep a quick payment inside Revolut

If you and your recipient already use Revolut, I'd say send directly between your accounts using the money already available.

Internal payments are usually instant, with a later withdrawal to another bank taking its own time.

Eligible external recipient-card payments are usually instant or take up to 30 minutes, although rare receiving-bank delays can extend delivery to 48 hours.

That can suit a recipient who wants the money in their card-linked account without joining Revolut.

Starting from an existing balance avoids a fresh deposit, but opening and verifying a new account adds time before the payment.

Check the transfer time for the destination below when you need an external payment.

TransferGo

Choose between supported bank and card payout

TransferGo lets you send euros from Finland to supported recipient banks or cards, with the arrival estimate shown before payment.

Card payout usually takes a few minutes, while bank delivery can take a few minutes to a few hours.

I suggest comparing the receiving methods inside the transfer rather than assuming that paying by card always makes bank delivery instant.

The sender's payment method and the recipient's payout method are separate decisions, and each needs to be supported for the destination.

If you fund by manual bank payment, use the exact reference and amount to prevent delays matching the payment to your order.

Western Union

Cash your recipient can collect today

Western Union can make an eligible cash transfer available within minutes, which suits someone who needs spending money without a bank deposit.

From Finland, you can pay using supported cards, Trustly, Apple Pay or Google Pay, or fund the transfer in cash at an agent.

Finnish FOREX shops provide Western Union counter access, so cash funding does not require a separate online bank payment.

Before sending, my suggestion is to confirm the recipient's collection point is open and match their legal name to the identification they will use.

The recipient also needs the transfer's tracking number, and reaching the agent can take longer than the transfer itself.

How to fund your transfer quickly

Choose how your EUR payment reaches the company before comparing processing and recipient delivery.

Wise's accepted Simple bank transfer can collect EUR instantly, while its standard option can take up to one working day.

Which receiving method should you choose?

Choose a receiving method the recipient can use immediately, then compare its delivery estimate for your destination.

A bank deposit

A bank deposit is suitable for paying bills or moving money into the recipient's everyday account, with timing determined by the local payment network.

For sending money from Finland to Germany, an eligible EUR SEPA Instant payment can arrive within ten seconds without currency conversion.

A foreign-currency bank payment is different, since funding and conversion can add time before the receiving bank credits the money.

A mobile wallet

Mobile wallets can receive supported international payments within minutes, including outside ordinary bank hours when the payout network operates around the clock.

For transfers from Finland to the Philippines, Taptap Send supports GCash, Maya and Coins.ph with typical delivery within minutes, 24 hours a day.

I suggest using the recipient's existing verified wallet, then checking cash-out access separately if they need physical cash.

Cash pickup

Cash pickup can be available within minutes, but the recipient needs identification and a collection point they can reach while it is open.

Western Union offers eligible minutes-based cash delivery from Finland, with availability depending on the destination and selected service.

A ready transfer does not mean the recipient has collected it, so confirm the agent before choosing cash over a bank or wallet.

A recipient card or same-service account

An eligible card payment can reach the account linked to the recipient's card, with TransferGo and Revolut offering this option on supported transfers.

Payments between Revolut users usually arrive instantly inside Revolut, while moving the money to another bank adds a separate stage.

Use the receiving option that matches where the recipient needs their money, rather than choosing an internal payment solely for its speed.

When your Finnish bank or MobilePay is enough

Your bank's eligible SEPA Instant payment can handle euros sent abroad as well as domestic transfers, without opening another transfer account.

With Nordea, choose Instant in online banking or switch on Instant payment in the app for a payment charged immediately.

Future-dated and recurring payments currently follow the standard process, so use an immediate payment when the recipient needs euros now.

Instant eligibility also needs checking for a euro account in a non-euro SEPA country, since membership alone does not establish instant receiving.

For friends in Denmark, Norway or Sweden, MobilePay offers cross-border payments to participating MobilePay or Vipps users with a receiving card.

The international service fee is 4%, with your bank's currency conversion potentially adding cost, so I suggest keeping that option for convenience-led small payments.

For money staying in Finland, an eligible bank instant transfer can handle the same immediate payment need.

Our guide to transferring money between banks in Finland covers the wider domestic process.

Avoid delays on your transfer

Complete checks before the deadline

Verify the sending account and prepare any requested documents before the payment becomes urgent, especially for a larger amount.

Resolve the recipient's details

Confirm the bank or wallet details match the recipient, and have a first-time GCash recipient accept its international-remittance terms.

Check access before choosing the payout

Confirm wallet receiving capacity or agent opening hours, then choose the funding and payout combination whose delivery estimate meets the deadline.

If a transfer is delayed, check whether the service is waiting for funding, requesting documents or has already paid the receiving bank.

Confirm a missing bank payment completed with the correct reference, and provide requested verification through the service before making another transfer.

For cash or wallet delivery, ask the recipient to check their available receiving capacity or collection access.

Our methodology & why trust us

We selected regulated services available for personal transfers from Finland, using official origin eligibility, funding and recipient-delivery information alongside our comparison results.

The assessment follows the whole payment until the recipient can use it, with eligible euro bank transfers considered separately from currency conversion.

Our tables show delivery times and recipient amounts, while the method examples explain specific bank, wallet, card and cash outcomes.

Remitly's Economy data is distinguished from Express quotes, and the automatic comparison orders results by cost rather than speed.

The choices reflect receiving needs and local funding options, without turning a company's global instant-transfer percentage into a Finnish fastest ranking.
