For euros sent to an eligible European bank account, I suggest using your French bank's SEPA Instant transfer.
The money can reach the recipient within ten seconds, including weekends, without registering for another transfer service.
For family receiving mobile money, Orange Money Europe and Taptap Send offer fast wallet payments, while Western Union suits cash collection.
Choose the receiving method first, then check how quickly your bank, card or cash payment can fund the transfer.

Orange Money Europe
Load money locally for an overseas wallet payment
The Orange Money Europe transfer app lets you top up through accepted instant bank payments or load cash at approved French outlets before sending abroad.
In my opinion, it is worth considering when your recipient already has the matching wallet and you want a choice between online funding and local cash loading.
For example, a transfer to an eligible Orange Money mobile wallet in Senegal arrives immediately, with the recipient notified by SMS.
The recipient needs a fully identified account, so resolve that before an urgent first payment rather than leaving verification until withdrawal.
If you fund in cash, use an approved Orange Money or FDJ Nirio outlet and allow time to visit it.
Digital loading is free from Orange Money Europe, while outlet loading and recipient cash withdrawal can add separate costs.
Taptap Send
Deliver into a wallet your family can use now
Taptap Send suits a recipient who already uses a supported mobile wallet, particularly when they need money outside bank hours.
For example, transfers to an Orange Money mobile wallet in Senegal typically arrive within minutes, including evenings and weekends.
If the recipient hasn’t received an international transfer before, they may need to verify their identity or upgrade their wallet before using the money.
My suggestion is to check that step before paying, along with the wallet's receiving capacity.
French funding supports eligible debit, credit and prepaid cards, including Cartes Bancaires, rather than only international Visa or Mastercard debit cards.
Bank funding is available where offered in the app, but do not assume every French bank can fund the order instantly.
Check Taptap Send's delivery time and recipient amount below for the destination you need.
A payment between Revolut accounts is usually instant, which suits a friend abroad who wants to use the money inside Revolut.
My suggestion is to send from your existing available balance, avoiding a new bank deposit before the payment.
If the recipient needs the money in another bank, include the withdrawal time before choosing an internal payment.
Revolut also pays eligible recipient cards, with delivery usually instant or within 30 minutes and rare receiving-bank delays extending it to 48 hours.
The app needs to accept the recipient's card, currency and destination before you can use that option.
For an external transfer, check the currency's delivery time rather than applying the internal payment's timing.
When funded by card or cash, eligible Western Union payments are usually ready for cash collection within minutes.
You can fund remotely using supported bank, card, Apple Pay or Google Pay options, or pay cash at a separate Western Union agent.
La Poste counter sending requires a La Banque Postale account and card, so I suggest using another agent if you need ordinary cash funding.
That avoids arriving at a postal counter with a payment method it cannot accept.
Check the recipient's collection point is open, and match their name to the identification they will bring.
The recipient also needs the tracking number, while travelling to the agent remains separate from cash becoming available.
How to fund your transfer quickly
Choose between the money already in your bank, physical cash or an available sending balance before comparing overseas payout.
Wise and Orange Money Europe offer instant EUR collection through eligible bank options, with the accepted bank shown during payment.
Your situation
How to fund it
Why it can save time
You need to pay directly from your bank
Select an accepted instant EUR payment, such as Wise or Orange Money Europe
Can make the funds available to the service immediately
You are sending support from cash held locally
Use an approved Orange Money loading outlet or Western Union agent
Avoids depositing cash into a separate bank account
You already hold enough in a verified account
Use the available sending balance
Removes the wait for another deposit
For a manual SEPA-funded order, follow the company's exact payment instructions and reference so it can allocate your money promptly.
Choose how the recipient will receive the money
A fast transfer is useful when it reaches an account or collection point the recipient can use, so choose that method before paying.
A mobile wallet
Supported wallets can receive international payments within minutes outside bank hours, provided the recipient has an eligible verified account.
For transfers from France to Senegal, the Orange Money Europe app credits an eligible Orange Money mobile wallet immediately, while Taptap Send typically delivers within minutes.
A wallet payment is separate from withdrawing cash, so check agent access if the recipient needs notes instead of a usable mobile balance.
A bank account
Bank deposits depend on the local payment network and receiving bank, alongside any funding and conversion before the payout.
For sending money from France to Germany, an eligible euro SEPA Instant transfer can arrive within ten seconds without currency conversion.
A GBP or other foreign-currency payment needs its own delivery estimate, even when you fund it using an instant euro payment.
Cash pickup
Cash can be ready within minutes, but the recipient needs an open collection point and identification that matches the transfer.
Western Union offers eligible minutes-based cash collection with card or cash funding, while a bank-funded payment needs its own arrival estimate.
I suggest choosing a convenient agent before a small timing advantage at somewhere the recipient cannot reach.
A recipient card or same-service account
Recipient-card delivery pays into the account linked to an eligible card, with Revolut offering fast payout on supported transfers.
TransferGo also supports eligible card delivery from France, while payments between Revolut users stay inside Revolut and usually arrive instantly.
A later withdrawal to another bank adds a stage, so confirm where the recipient needs the money before choosing an internal payment.
Instant euro payments and Wero
For euros staying within eligible SEPA accounts, your French bank's instant transfer can handle an overseas payment without another remittance account.
It operates around the clock and cannot cost more than the equivalent standard euro transfer, although your banking channel's normal charges can apply.
Check the bank's payment limit for a larger amount, and resolve any recipient-name mismatch before confirming the transfer.
Wero also supports eligible euro contact payments through participating banks in France, Belgium and Germany.
For sending money from France to Belgium, that can suit repaying a friend who already has access to Wero.
It remains a euro contact-payment option, so it does not replace family-wallet transfers to Africa or a foreign-currency bank payment.
The same instant bank and contact-payment options can handle domestic payments when both accounts are eligible.
Our guide to transferring money between banks in France covers the wider process for money staying in France.
Avoid delays on an urgent payment
Prepare the sending account
Finish account verification before an urgent payment, and prepare any requested proof of funds before transferring a larger amount.
Check the recipient's wallet or bank
Confirm the account details and receiving capacity, with first-time international Orange Money recipients in Senegal completing any required identification before payment.
Choose a funding method that meets the deadline
Check card or instant-bank availability before selecting a fast payout, and confirm collection opening hours when the recipient needs cash.
If the transfer is delayed, check whether it is waiting for your funding, undergoing review or has already reached the receiving bank.
Provide requested documents through the service, and confirm a missing bank payment used the correct amount and reference before sending again.
For wallet or cash delivery, ask the recipient to check whether account verification, receiving capacity or agent access is blocking their use of the money.
Does instant delivery cost more?

Our methodology & why trust us
We selected regulated services available for personal transfers from France, using official local funding and delivery information alongside our comparison results.
The assessment follows the money through funding, processing and the recipient's access, with euro bank payments distinguished from overseas cash and wallets.
Our tables show delivery times and recipient amounts, while method examples explain the specific bank, wallet, card or cash outcome.
Remitly's Economy results are separate from Express quotes, and the automatic comparison orders prices rather than ranking the fastest services.
The choices reflect usable recipient accounts and French payment options, without claiming that a global instant-transfer percentage settles every destination.
