Africhange is my top pick for an NGN-funded USD bank payment when its fixed US$25 SWIFT charge suits the amount.
Flutterwave Send and Chipper Cash are more useful when the recipient needs a supported wallet or regional payout instead of a global wire.
Education payments need a different calculation, comparing Access Bank Form A charges with the institution's Flywire NGN quote.

Cheapest money transfers from Nigeria right now
Funding currency comes first because an NGN wallet transfer, a Form A allocation and a pre-funded domiciliary wire have different costs.
The comparison below shows available NGN1 million quotes for four destinations without treating one service as cheapest for every payment purpose.

Table updates weekly. All information comes directly from our comparisons, provider APIs, and manual rate collection.
Since NGN rates change all the time, this table shows the cheapest options for sending money from Nigeria right now, but using banks, Flywire and regional wallet services covered below is still very useful depending on your needs.

Africhange
Africhange suits larger NGN-funded payments to USD bank accounts.
You fund the NGN wallet by bank transfer, select the payment purpose and send USD to an individual or business account abroad.
The US$25 charge applies to the USD SWIFT service, while the other currencies in the table use their own transfer prices.
That fixed fee equals 5% of a US$500 transfer but 0.5% of US$5,000 before exchange and recipient-bank costs.
Processing takes one to three business days, while higher tier limits require additional compliance checks inside the service.
Compare the exchange rate and amount received below, because a fixed SWIFT fee alone does not establish the cheapest service.

Flutterwave Send
Flutterwave Send covers cash collection and mobile-wallet delivery without requiring an overseas bank account.
Its Nigeria-origin transfer fee is 1%, while Flutterwave's daily exchange rate and the selected payout method determine the remaining cost.
On NGN1 million, that fee is NGN10,000 before exchange-rate effects, funding charges or recipient-side costs.
The service can show bank, mobile-money or cash-pickup delivery by destination, so compare only the method your recipient will use.
Funding choices appear inside the app and can carry different costs, making the final NGN debit more useful than the 1% headline.
I would use it over a SWIFT wire when recipient access justifies the payout method and the complete quote remains lower.
Chipper Cash
Chipper Cash suits African transfers paid into a local bank account or mobile wallet.
Nigerian customers complete BVN and NIN verification before funding the wallet and selecting an available destination.
You can send from Nigeria to supported destinations including Ghana, Uganda, South Africa and the United States, subject to the available recipient method.
The fee and exchange rate depend on your transfer, so use the in-app recipient amount when weighing Chipper against Flutterwave Send.
A wallet or mobile-money payout can avoid choosing SWIFT by default, but recipient cash-out charges can reduce the practical saving.
Delivery can take up to four business days, which should be weighed against a lower quote when the transfer has a deadline.
UBA PAPSS
UBA PAPSS lets existing UBA customers send NGN to Ghanaian recipients in GHS.
Leo supports Nigeria-to-Ghana PAPSS payments from the customer's local-currency account into the beneficiary's local currency.
Paying in naira and receiving cedis removes the need to arrange a separate USD-funded wire, while the quoted exchange rate still affects the cost.
Check the NGN debit and final GHS amount in Leo, including any beneficiary-bank deduction that could reduce what arrives.
For another African destination, check whether Leo offers the country and recipient bank before funding the payment.
I would compare the local-currency result with Chipper when the Ghana recipient can use both payout routes.
Access Bank e-Form A
Access Bank e-Form A provides an authorised FX route for documented school and medical payments.
USD school and medical payments have no commission, but carry US$25 offshore, US$15 telex and NGN5,000 e-Form A charges.
Applicable tax and any correspondent deduction remain separate, while access to FX allocation depends on the application and documents.
Other Form A purposes can add 0.5% commission, but that rate must not be applied to school or medical payments.
For a purpose carrying commission, 0.5% of US$5,000 is US$25 before the other listed charges and tax.
I would compare the complete NGN debit with Flywire when the recipient institution supports both routes.
GTBank domiciliary wire
GTBank handles global bank wires from existing USD, GBP and EUR domiciliary balances.
Internet banking can send those currencies to an overseas beneficiary without arranging a fresh NGN conversion at the payment stage.
Keeping the payment in the same currency avoids selling your dollars for naira and buying foreign currency again.
Ask for the wire fee and any correspondent deductions before sending, especially when the beneficiary needs an exact amount.
For someone starting with NGN, the cost of obtaining the foreign currency must also be included in the comparison.
Flywire
Flywire is useful for tuition payments to participating schools.
The institution creates the payment route, and Nigerian payers can use a domestic NGN method or an international bank transfer in the billing currency.
Payments in NGN are excluded from Flywire’s Best Price Guarantee because a local banking partner sets the exchange rate.
That exclusion makes the complete NGN quote essential rather than relying on Flywire to match a cheaper bank conversion.
The alternative international route normally uses your bank and Form A, with bank charges added to the institution's foreign-currency invoice.
I would choose between them using the exact amount needed to settle the same tuition invoice, including every bank and platform charge.
Start with the funding currency
The route can only be compared fairly after deciding whether you are starting with NGN or foreign currency already held.

Do not compare a domiciliary wire fee with an NGN app's complete conversion cost as though both begin with the same currency.
Cheapest way to pay an exact overseas invoice
An exact tuition or medical invoice needs the recipient to receive the required foreign-currency amount after every deduction.
Ask for a payment option that covers overseas bank charges, then confirm whether the quoted amount includes every deduction affecting the invoice.
For school payments, compare Access Form A charges with Flywire's complete NGN debit using the institution's identical billing amount.
