Wise is my top pick for routine bank transfers because Pix or TED funding and itemised pricing make the total BRL cost easy to inspect.
For eligible USD or EUR payments, Rendimento Câmbio removes the service tariff, while TapTap Send offers a low fixed fee on its Haiti route.
For cash collection, compare Western Union and Remitly using the same payout method after any welcome offer has expired.

Cheapest money transfers from Brazil right now
The cheapest service delivers the most foreign currency for the same BRL budget after fees, exchange costs and applicable IOF.
Use both amount tabs because a fixed charge has more impact at R$1,000, while the exchange rate usually becomes more important at R$10,000.

Table updates weekly. All information comes directly from our comparisons, provider APIs, and manual rate collection.
Since BRL rates change all the time, this table shows the cheapest options right now to send from Brazil, while the list below covers companies that are generally competitive for different types of transfer.

Wise
Wise shows the commercial exchange rate and transfer fee upfront.
Brazilian tax residents can fund from their own account through Pix or TED, with no card, boleto or SWIFT funding for BRL transfers.
That narrow funding route avoids card charges, although your bank and the selected transfer purpose can still affect the complete cost.
Wise includes its fee and applicable tax in the quote, making it easier to compare VET without adding IOF a second time.
A visible service fee does not make Wise more expensive than a zero-fee company with a worse exchange rate.
Use the recipient amounts below to judge whether Wise’s itemised fee delivers better value than an exchange-rate margin elsewhere.

Remessa Online
Remessa Online supports larger personal payments once you provide the required documents.
Funding comes through Pix or TED from your own individual account, while a joint account cannot pay the transfer.
Standard personal registration permits R$180,000 daily and R$360,000 over a rolling 365 days, with a documented higher-limit process available.
That process can make Remessa more practical than a lower app quote that cannot accept the required amount or purpose.
Its fee and exchange margin vary, so compare the checkout VET and any correspondent charge with Wise, Rendimento and Regency.
I would complete the document review before fixing a payment deadline or assuming the standard limit covers several linked transactions.
Rendimento Câmbio
Rendimento Câmbio charges no online service tariff for eligible USD and EUR transfers.
Qualifying purposes include overseas account availability, student or dependent maintenance, courses and investments, with the correct documents required.
Zero service tariff still leaves the exchange rate and applicable IOF inside the VET, so it does not mean a cost-free transfer.
The quote shows the rate, tax and VET before payment, making a direct comparison with Wise or Remessa Online possible.
I would use Rendimento for a supported and accurately classified purpose, particularly education or a transfer to your own overseas account.
Do not relabel the transfer to obtain a lower tax treatment, because the real payment purpose determines the applicable IOF category.
Western Union
I'd use Western Union when cash collection is worth the extra cost.
Brazilian senders can pay online or in the app using a local bank route or Pix, with cash payment available through agents.
The company can earn through the exchange rate as well as the visible fee, making the final cash amount the useful cost measure.
Cash can be available within minutes, although identification, agent hours and transaction review can extend the collection time.
Ignore temporary zero-fee promotions when judging repeat cost, then compare the standard cash quote with Remitly for the same location.
A bank-deposit quote cannot establish which cash service is cheaper because the payout method can change both price and exchange rate.
Remitly
Remitly's introductory offer can make a first transfer cheaper.
Welcome exchange rates or fee discounts can make the first transfer look cheaper than the repeat service you will use later.
Compare the ordinary fee, rate and recipient amount after the offer expires, keeping the delivery tier and payout method identical.
You fund the transfer with Pix, while the selected destination determines whether bank or cash delivery is available.
I would compare Remitly with Western Union for cash and with Wise for bank delivery, rather than mixing the two recipient outcomes.
Additional document checks can affect the usable limit and timing, so complete verification before relying on an urgent quote.
Here's what you can expect to get with Remitly (Economy) when sending money abroad:

TapTap Send
TapTap Send charges a low fixed fee for BRL transfers to Haiti through Unitransfer.
The Haiti route charges R$4.90 for HTG delivery through Unitransfer at any amount, with a US$1.50 Haitian transfer tax also applying.
The R$4.90 service fee equals 0.49% of R$1,000 but only 0.049% of R$10,000, before exchange costs and applicable taxes.
After verification, you have 15 minutes to complete the Pix payment for a transfer, which is separate from the overseas delivery time.
Check whether the Haitian tax is included in the final quote before adding it separately to your cost calculation.
TapTap also supports other destinations and payout options, including mobile wallets where available, with a R$13,000 per-transfer limit from Brazil.
The fixed Haiti fee cannot be extended to Portugal, the United States or Argentina, where the route uses its own price.
These tables show TapTap quotes for the four destination currencies supported by the scheduled data at both example amounts.

Revolut
Revolut suits small exchanges within the monthly BRL allowance, especially between Revolut users.
Standard includes R$1,000 of BRL exchange each month without a conversion fee, counting exchanges both into and out of reais.
After that allowance is exceeded, subsequent BRL-to-foreign-currency exchanges carry a 1.4% fee, so repeated conversions can quickly change the cost.
Foreign-to-foreign exchange has a separate R$10,000 monthly allowance, so that higher threshold does not apply to the original BRL conversion.
Foreign-to-foreign exchanges also carry a 1% weekend charge, making an unnecessary second conversion especially expensive outside the working week.
Internal transfers can be free after conversion, but BRL is unsupported for Revolut-to-Revolut transfers and must first become an accepted currency.
Once the BRL allowance is exhausted, I would favour Wise or Remessa Online if their total price beats Revolut’s conversion and transfer charges.
With Revolut Standard, this is what you will get when sending different amounts to popular destinations:

Regency FX
Regency FX offers negotiated exchange rates and account support for larger BRL transfers.
Brazilian residents can fund in BRL, while the managed process helps with the payment details and timing of a larger conversion.
Ask your account manager for the complete BRL funding instructions and final recipient amount before committing to the exchange rate.
For illustration, reducing the exchange margin by 0.5 percentage points saves roughly R$500 on a R$100,000 conversion, before other charges.
Compare the final BRL debit and recipient amount with Remessa Online and Rendimento using the same purpose and destination.
I would avoid using it for a casual low-value transfer when a self-service Pix option already provides the required recipient route.
On large transfers, FX margin is the bigger cost, here's what to expect from RegencyFX:

Current rules apply 3.5% IOF to overseas availability transfers, including ordinary transfers to your own account, while qualifying investment-purpose availability is 1.10%.
Other non-exempt outbound operations can also attract 3.5%, although exceptions and purpose-specific categories remain.
Compare quotes using the same real purpose and check whether IOF is already included.
For illustration, buying US$1,000 at a VET of R$5.60 costs R$5,600, compared with R$5,700 at a VET of R$5.70.
These hypothetical all-in prices differ by R$100, even if the more expensive quote has no separate service fee.
