My top pick for everyday overseas bank transfers from Switzerland would be Wise, because its separate fee and mid-market exchange rate make the costs clear.
For larger planned payments, I would consider b-sharpe for specialist support, while Telexoo deserves a closer look when you regularly exchange Swiss francs into euros.
Western Union, Revolut and Swiss Bankers suit different receiving methods, so the right choice also depends on how your recipient needs the money.

Wise
Wise keeps everyday international bank transfers clear on cost and delivery amount.
It uses the mid-market exchange rate and shows its fee separately, so you can see what the transfer costs before sending.
Swiss customers can fund CHF transfers through a bank transfer, card or QR bill, although the available payment method affects the overall cost and timing.
For a routine payment to an overseas bank account, I would choose Wise if you want clear upfront pricing and are comfortable arranging the transfer online.
Funding deserves particular attention if you need the money quickly, because a standard Swiss bank transfer can take one to three working days just to reach Wise.
Its CHF guide gives a shorter funding estimate for instant bank transfers, but onward conversion and delivery still depend on the destination.
Compare the recipient amounts below to see how Wise’s pricing changes across currencies and transfer sizes.

b-sharpe
b-sharpe offers personal support for large, planned currency transfers.
Its property service covers situations such as paying a deposit or arranging staged payments, with support for transfers to a solicitor or seller.
For a property purchase, you can discuss the completion deadline alongside the amount your solicitor or seller needs to receive.
The service offers rate-locking options, including forward exchange for eligible arrangements, so ask about the commitment and funding deadline before agreeing to a rate.
A fixed rate gives you certainty over the agreed conversion, although you will miss out if the market subsequently moves in your favour.
Confirm the intended recipient with b-sharpe before funding a payment, because its ordinary exchange service has account-ownership restrictions and specific exceptions.
For a large transfer, request the final recipient amount and compare it against an online quote for the same CHF budget.
Telexoo
Telexoo publishes its pricing for regular CHF to EUR conversions.
Its setup suits someone moving part of a Swiss salary into their own euro account, including people managing expenses on both sides of the border.
You register the relevant bank accounts, transfer money to Telexoo and receive the converted funds in the registered destination account.
Check ownership requirements before treating it as a general service for paying someone else, because its personal guidance describes euro payouts to an account in your name.
Telexoo publishes exchange margins by amount, with lower percentage margins for larger conversions and separate terms for transfers outside its standard CHF and SEPA payments.
That makes the amount you exchange each time relevant, especially if you are comparing several small payments against one larger monthly conversion.
Bank funding is required, so it will suit you better when the money already sits in an account rather than as cash.
Western Union
Western Union works well for cash collection and in-person transfer support.
Swiss Post offers Western Union transfers at participating branches, where you provide identification, pay for the transfer and receive a tracking number.
Your recipient can then collect the money through the relevant Western Union network, subject to the destination’s identification requirements and collection arrangements.
This gives it a practical role when a bank deposit would leave the recipient still needing to find a way to withdraw cash.
Check the nearest collection point before sending, including opening hours and the currency available, rather than relying on country coverage alone.
Compare the online and branch quotes separately, because a price for one sending channel should not be assumed to apply to another.

Revolut
Revolut makes transfers simple when both people already hold the same currency.
Its Swiss transfer service supports payments between Revolut users without a transfer fee, avoiding the need to send through an external recipient bank.
Currency conversion can still cost money, so a fee-free transfer should not be confused with exchanging Swiss francs for free.
For Standard customers, Revolut currently applies a 1% fair-usage fee above CHF 1,250 of exchanges per rolling month, alongside a 1% weekend exchange fee.
Paid plans have different terms, which makes your existing plan and remaining allowance relevant to the final cost.
Revolut also supports overseas bank transfers, so compare those quotes separately when your recipient does not already use the service.
The table below covers external transfers, where the recipient amount provides a more useful comparison than the internal transfer fee alone.

Swiss Bankers Send
Swiss Bankers Send lets existing cardholders send abroad from their prepaid balance.
The service is available to Swiss residents and supports eligible Mastercard payouts, alongside bank accounts, selected mobile wallets and cash collection options.
For a supported Mastercard payment, the recipient’s card details can replace the bank-account information required for a conventional overseas bank transfer.
Swiss Bankers lists a CHF 2 transfer fee for sending to a Mastercard, but conversion and any cost of funding your Swiss Bankers card also matter.
Check the full amount debited before sending, especially if you need to load the card first rather than using an existing balance.
Availability depends on the destination and receiving method, which you can check in the Send section of the Swiss Bankers app.
What to consider when sending money from Switzerland
Compare the full CHF cost
Use the same amount, destination and receiving method for every quote, then compare how much your recipient actually gets after conversion and fees.
For example, a CHF 1,000 transfer to France should be compared with another CHF 1,000 transfer to France, including any fee paid on top.
A company advertising no transfer fee may still offer a less favourable exchange rate, while a bank or card issuer can add funding charges.
For SWIFT payments, also ask whether intermediary or receiving-bank charges could reduce the amount that arrives.
Separate euro payments from currency conversion
Switzerland participates in SEPA, which can make a euro bank transfer straightforward even though Switzerland does not use the euro as its domestic currency.
However, starting with Swiss francs adds an exchange step, and a low SEPA payment fee tells you little about the price of that conversion.
Compare your bank’s final euro quote with an exchange service before deciding whether the convenience of paying directly from your account is worth the difference.
PostFinance’s pricing documents distinguish payment services from currency conversion at its own exchange rate, illustrating why both parts deserve attention.
Check whose account can receive the money
Moving francs into your own overseas account can have different requirements from sending money to a relative, landlord or property solicitor.
Some Swiss exchange specialists restrict payments to registered accounts, so confirm they can pay your intended recipient before sending any money.
For cash collection or a mobile wallet, confirm the exact destination network and recipient details before paying for the transfer.
TWINT remains useful for payments between its users, but it does not replace a service that converts francs and pays into an overseas bank account.
Cheapest money transfer services in Switzerland
The cheapest company depends on the destination, amount and payment method, so compare the available quotes before deciding which service to use.
Our comparison below uses different amounts for different destinations, with pricing data refreshed weekly.
Look at the recipient amount alongside any funding charges, and check the final quote with the provider before confirming your payment.

For b-sharpe and Telexoo, request a quote directly before making a larger CHF-to-EUR conversion, as their prices are not included in the table.
For urgent transfers, check how the recipient will receive the money, as an internal payment can arrive sooner than an overseas bank deposit.
The estimates below describe different services and starting points, so they should not be read as a ranking of identical transfers.
Service
Useful speed information
What to check
Revolut to another Revolut user
Provider describes delivery within 20 seconds
Available balance, conversion and any account checks
Swiss Bankers to an eligible Mastercard
Provider describes delivery in minutes, with some instructions allowing up to two hours
Card eligibility, funding and the estimate shown before payment
Wise funded from a Swiss bank
Standard funding can take 1–3 working days; instant funding is typically 15–30 minutes before onward processing
The final delivery estimate, including conversion and payout
Telexoo CHF-to-EUR conversion
Dispatch generally the same working day for funds received before noon, otherwise the next; recipient-bank credit can take another 1–2 days
Funding arrival, working days and recipient-bank processing
An instant payment into a provider’s account only covers the funding stage, so check when your recipient will actually be able to use the money.
Complete registration and identity checks before an urgent transfer where possible, leaving extra time for a first payment or an unusually large amount.
For more on urgent payments, see our guide to the fastest ways to send money abroad from Switzerland.
Easiest money transfer companies to use
The easiest option depends on what you already have set up and whether you prefer an online transfer or help in person.
Your situation

Why it fits
You want to send an overseas bank payment with clear upfront costs
Wise

You regularly move francs into your own euro account
Telexoo

You already have a funded Swiss Bankers card
Swiss Bankers Send
Send from the card balance through the existing app
Your Swiss bank can also be the simplest operational choice because your account is already open, although its conversion price still deserves comparison.

Best companies for large transfers from Switzerland
For a large payment, I would choose b-sharpe if you need personal help arranging the exchange or fixing a rate for a planned payment.
Check whether the provider can pay your intended recipient directly, particularly for a property purchase involving a solicitor or a staged payment schedule.
If you need certainty over a future exchange rate, discuss the terms of fixing it before moving the money or making a binding commitment.

Our methodology & why trust us
We assessed Swiss-resident access, CHF funding, receiving methods, pricing transparency and practical use cases using provider documentation and our existing Swiss market research.
The selections reflect different needs, including overseas bank transfers, regular euro conversions, cash collection and larger planned payments.
Comparison data is refreshed weekly, while delivery estimates remain conditional on funding, destination and provider checks.
My picks reflect the research rather than personal transfers with every service, and no company is cheapest for every destination.
We may earn commission from some companies, but commercial agreements do not influence their positioning or what I write about them.
You can read more about our assessment process in our review methodology.
