For another euro account within SEPA, I suggest checking your Spanish bank first because the transfer may already be included in your account.
Wise
Wise combines bank payments with mid-market currency conversion
Wise suits payments from your Spanish euro account to a recipient's bank, without requiring that person to open their own Wise account.
That is a good fit for paying overseas rent, moving money to your UK account or sending savings to a family member's bank.
You can pay for eligible euro transfers by bank transfer or open banking, while card funding has lower limits and can cost more.
For a substantial sum, my suggestion is to use a bank-funded payment rather than treat a debit card as the default simply because it is available.
Wise converts at the mid-market exchange rate and charges a separate fee, which means the currency pair and funding method influence the total cost.
The tables below show how those charges change across destinations, rather than treating a payment to Colombia as equivalent to a payment to Britain.
Bank deposit is also Wise's main limitation here, because it does not give a recipient the same cash-collection choices as Remitly or Ria.
If someone in Morocco needs cash rather than a bank deposit, I suggest picking the receiving service first and then looking at the price.
For a large transfer, Wise can request documents explaining the source of funds, so keep the sale agreement or relevant bank statements available.
I'd say consider Currencies Direct when you want support coordinating a property payment, while Wise is easier to use for an ordinary online bank transfer.
Remitly
Remitly gives family transfers more receiving options
Remitly supports bank deposits, cash collection and other local delivery methods, with the available choices depending on the country and receiving partner.
For example, Morocco has a network of local cash partners, while sending to a Colombian bank can involve a different recipient process.
That flexibility makes Remitly my pick for family support, without assuming everyone you send to has the same banking access.
Your recipient does not need a Remitly account to collect an eligible cash transfer, but their identification must match the recipient details you enter.
Before sending, check the collection point and opening hours with your recipient, particularly if they would need to travel to another town.
The fee and exchange rate can change with the destination, amount and payment method, so the final amount received is the better price measure.
A discounted first transfer can be attractive, although I suggest judging recurring payments by the normal price rather than the introductory offer alone.
Choose the funding and delivery method together, because an option that is quicker for you to pay may cost more without improving collection access.
For a property sale or a large payment to your own overseas account, I'd say use a bank-transfer service or broker instead of choosing by cash coverage.
Currencies Direct
Currencies Direct suits property proceeds and larger planned payments
Currencies Direct has offices in Spain and a Spanish electronic money institution, alongside a service for personal transfers to and from the country.
For someone moving a substantial euro balance back to Britain, having an account manager can make the payment arrangements easier to coordinate.
The service offers spot transfers and forward contracts, letting eligible customers arrange a current conversion or agree an exchange rate for a later payment.
A forward contract is a commitment rather than a promise of a better rate, so I suggest using it to manage a known payment deadline.
If you have not completed the property sale or confirmed when the money will arrive, check the contract's funding obligations before agreeing to it.
Currencies Direct does not charge a transfer fee, although it earns money through the exchange rate offered for the conversion.
My suggestion is to request the final pound amount after all relevant charges, then check it against another option at the same time.

A broker is not automatically cheaper than an app, and a useful account manager does not remove the need to assess the exchange rate.
Your Spanish bank can also charge for moving the sale proceeds to the company's account, which is a separate cost from the currency conversion.
For smaller routine payments, I prefer an online service unless regular-payment support is part of what you need.
Ria
Ria combines a Spanish presence with local sending agents
Ria operates through a Spanish payment institution registered with the Banco de España, with online transfers and a network of sending locations.
That combination suits someone who wants help arranging a payment or needs to fund it with cash instead of using an app alone.
Sending to Morocco can include bank deposit or cash collection, so you can choose the service around how the recipient prefers to receive money.
However, an online quote and a quote at an agent are not necessarily the same offer, even when the destination and amount match.
I suggest checking both when you can pay either way, because the convenience of a nearby agent can come with a different fee or exchange rate.
A locutorio or shop displaying Ria's name should be an authorised agent, and you should receive a transfer receipt with a tracking reference.
Keep that receipt until the recipient confirms collection, and check their name against the identification they will present at the receiving location.
For an urgent cash payment, the location and its opening hours can be more important than the quickest estimated processing time.
Ria's Spanish presence is useful for this sending method, although it does not mean every destination has the same collection network or bank partners.

Revolut
Revolut works well when both people already use it
For an external bank account, the payment route and currency affect timing and charges, so it is a different transaction from paying another Revolut user.
Revolut's Spanish Standard plan has a €1,000 monthly exchange allowance, with a 1% fair-usage fee on exchange above that allowance.
Standard also adds a 1% weekend exchange fee, so exchanging before the weekend can avoid a charge on the same intended payment.
If you use Revolut for travel as well as transfers, those exchanges can consume the allowance before you make your overseas bank payment.
I'd say track that shared allowance instead of assuming every transfer below €1,000 will qualify for the same pricing.
A paid subscription can increase the exchange allowance, but I suggest comparing the monthly cost with the charges you expect to avoid.
Eligible Revolut Bank UAB deposits have Lithuanian deposit protection, which differs from the safeguarding used by electronic money and payment institutions.
For cash collection, choose another company because holding a Revolut balance does not give your recipient access to an ordinary remittance cash counter.
Taptap Send
Taptap Send focuses on sending money home through its app
Taptap Send serves Spain as a sending country, with supported destinations including Colombia, Ecuador and Morocco in our checked comparison results.
Its app suits recurring family payments when your recipient can use one of the delivery methods available for their particular country.
I suggest choosing by the payout partner and the amount received, rather than treating an app's destination list as proof of every receiving method.
For example, a bank deposit and a cash payment involve different recipient needs, even if they are both available somewhere within the same service.
The exchange-rate margin is part of the cost, and some destinations have separate fees, so a zero-fee transfer is not automatically the cheapest.
A saved recipient can make repeat payments easier, but confirm the payout details whenever your family member changes bank account or collection preference.
The app-led service is less suitable if you need an in-person agent to take cash, or someone to help arrange a substantial property payment.
For those needs, my picks are Ria or Western Union for cash access, and a broker or bank-transfer service for a large planned transfer.
Western Union
Western Union adds cash collection and access through Correos
Western Union supports sending online and through agents in Spain, with cash collection at eligible receiving locations in supported destination countries.
Correos offers Western Union transfers through participating post offices, giving you another way to arrange a payment without relying on a specialist remittance shop.
That is useful if your recipient needs cash and you would prefer to handle the sending process at a familiar local counter.
However, availability depends on the office and destination, so check the service before travelling to a post office with cash and identification.
Online and counter prices can differ, and faster collection does not mean the same cost as a bank-funded bank deposit.
In my opinion, the final amount collected and the location your recipient can reach are better reasons to choose than a zero-fee promotion.
Keep the tracking number private and share it only with the intended recipient, along with the information they need for collection.
Western Union is more relevant when cash access solves a specific problem, while an ordinary overseas bank deposit may be better served by Wise.
MoneyGram is another regulated cash network to check if its receiving agent is easier for your recipient to reach than Western Union's.
You can send cash through participating MoneyGram agents, although the recipient's receiving method still depends on the country and available service.
Sending from Spain to the UK, Latin America or Morocco
Moving euros to a UK bank account
For savings or property proceeds going to Britain, make sure the comparison ends in pounds arriving at your UK account after conversion.
Sending euros to a UK account that automatically converts them can leave the conversion with the receiving bank, rather than the company you chose.
For a large payment, check the Spanish bank's transfer charge and allow time for source-of-funds documents before committing to a completion date.
Sending to Latin America
Match the destination currency to the recipient's account or collection method, because a dollar payment is not the same as a local-currency bank deposit.
Ecuador uses US dollars, so a Spain-to-Ecuador transfer may show EUR to USD even though you are not sending to the United States.
Those are different destinations with different receiving arrangements, which is why the examples below include both rather than treating every dollar payment alike.
Sending to Morocco
I suggest establishing whether the recipient wants bank deposit or cash first, then comparing companies that provide that exact receiving method.
For cash collection, check the receiving partner and opening hours because an available quote cannot tell you whether the recipient can reach the counter.

Can you use a Spanish bank or Bizum instead?
For euro payments to another eligible SEPA account, your existing bank may already be enough, particularly when no currency conversion is required.
The cost changes when a bank converts euros or sends through an international correspondent route, so check the rate as well as the sending fee.
Bizum supports cross-border payments with participating services in Portugal, Italy and Andorra, although this does not make it a general worldwide remittance service.
It is not an alternative for sending family money to Colombia or Morocco, or for converting substantial property proceeds into pounds.
How to send money abroad from Spain
Decide how the recipient should receive money
Choose bank deposit, cash collection or another supported method, then confirm that the recipient can use the specific account or receiving location.
Check the full payment cost
Compare the amount received after the fee and exchange rate, including any charge from your bank for funding the transfer.
Prepare your identification and payment documents
Have the accepted identity document and any requested address evidence available, with source-of-funds documents ready for a larger or unusual payment.
Confirm the recipient details
Match names and bank details carefully, and check the destination currency before paying so you do not trigger an unwanted receiving-bank conversion.
Keep the receipt and follow the transfer
Save the tracking reference until the money arrives, and contact the company through its official support if the payment needs additional information.
If you need to keep foreign balances between payments, multi-currency accounts in Spain cover that different task alongside receiving and card spending.
Enter your destination and amount below, then choose a company that supports your funding method and the way your recipient needs to receive money.

Our methodology & why trust us
I assessed companies serving Spanish residents by funding methods, recipient options, account access, costs and support for the payment being arranged.
Our live results were checked for six destinations, with official product and regulatory checks used separately to confirm the shortlisted services.
Scheduled comparison figures update through our data, while eligibility and product features need separate checks when a company changes its service.
Commercial relationships do not decide inclusion, and the shortlist includes locally relevant options alongside companies appearing in our comparison results.
