Smiles Mobile Remittance, popularly referred to as Smiles, has expanded its services in Singapore by launching a new feature called Bills Payment. Digital Wallet Singapore, which is a subsidiary of the global mobile fintech firm - Digital Wallet Group is behind the new service.

In the past, individuals have had to visit a physical payment location to pay their bills in the Philippines. However, they are now able to do so digitally while in Singapore.

Smiles’ Bills Payment Feature

Through the new service, Filipinos residing in Singapore can now make payments back home in a fast and convenient manner. All that is needed to complete the transaction at any time of day or night is a smartphone.

Notably, the platform has included several bill payment choices with direct payment options. This includes bills like insurances, real estate investments, electricity bills, water bills, and government loans. The Bills Payment feature on the Smiles app will also allow customers to use the Scan & Pay option to pay bills to the Philippines from Singapore. In addition one will be able to make automatic deposits.
