
BOSS Revolution partners with TerraPay for global expansion
BOSS Revolution, a global money transfer company, has partnered with TerraPay, as it expands its services in Africa, Asia, Europe, and Latin America.

BOSS Revolution is a fintech company owned by IDT Corporation, a publicly-traded company valued at more than $1.2 billion. The platform provides services like international calling, money transfer and top-up services.
In a statement on Thursday, BOSS Revolution said that it was partnering with TerraPay as it seeks to expand its services globally. TerraPay is a payment infrastructure company that helps companies to build transparent, secure, and real-time payment solutions. About 97% of all transactions that goes through the platform are processed in less than 30 seconds.
TerraPay claims to have more than 4 billion bank accounts and more than 500 million mobile wallets. It is also regulated by 15 leading organizations. Some of its key customers are firms like the United Bank of Africa, Western Union, and Wise. In a statement, Alfredo O’Hagan, the SVP for Consumer Payment at IDT said:
“We are delighted to partner with TerraPay as we open new corridors and emphasize real-time payment options leveraging their extensive platform.”
Competition rising
The new announcement comes at a time when competition among money transfer companies is rising globally. For one, moneyed firms like Wise and MoneyGram are spending millions of dollars to reach out to more customers,
Therefore, the partnership between TerraPay and BOSS Revolution will help the company improve its offerings. As part of this partnership, the company will begin offering payment solutions to Senegal and Benin and then expand them to more countries. In a statement, Ani Sane, the co-founder of TerraPay said:
“Our exciting partnership with BOSS Revolution will empower customers in the US to connect with family and friends worldwide, starting with mobile wallets in Senegal and Benin, while growing both companies’ footprints.”
