Visa and RevoluPAY launches Visa Direct in Spain

Visa, a leading digital payment company, and RevoluPAY have launched Visa Direct. This has been presented as a new solution for RevolutPAY’s customers to send and receive funds instantly via RevolutSEND.

The aforementioned solution is already operational and consumers can enjoy it throughout the European Economic Area. This is thanks to RevoluPAY’s license and technology as well as Visa’s global network.

RevolutPay’s customers using RevoluSEND can enjoy Visa Direct to transfer money to an account or card directly within the app. To make a transfer, the customer will need to fill in a form with the Visa card or account number of the recipient.

The CEO of RevoluGROUP, Gavin McMillan has stated, “Our alliance with Visa goes beyond being merely a partnership; it is a commitment to continue providing secure, innovative, and nearly real-time payment solutions to our customers and white label partners.”

Visa’s Country Manager in Spain, Eduardo Prieto echoed this sentiment noting, “Consumers are demanding increasingly faster solutions for sending and receiving money that are easy and secure to use…we are proud to continue expanding this solution in Spain, hand-in-hand with a partner like RevoluPAY”.

Evidently, customers are increasingly favoring digital payments. As such, there is a growing need for seamless money transfer methods. Data released by Visa shows that in Spain, 42% of the populace has used mobile payments at least once.

As an Affiliate Partner of Visa, RevoluPAY joins about 100 financial institutions in Europe that have this platform. For the aforementioned entities, this has enabled speedy and secure payments including government-government, consumer-consumer, and business-business payments directly to numerous recipients worldwide.
